PRIVACY POLICY

1. WHAT WE COLLECT

SlapWin is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data to keep the app running:

• Anonymous User ID: Generated automatically on app launch using Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This is a random identifier — no personal information is tied to it.
• Slap Count: The number of slaps you perform is sent to our global slap counter. This data is fully anonymous.
• Creator Name: If you create a community sound pack, the display name you choose is stored. This is a name you pick — not your real name.

2. WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

• We do NOT collect your real name, email address, or phone number.
• We do NOT access your microphone, camera, or personal files.
• We do NOT track your location.
• We do NOT sell or share any data with third parties.
• We do NOT use cookies or tracking pixels on the desktop app.

3. LICENSE KEY ACTIVATION

When you activate SlapWin, your license key is verified through Gumroad's API. This process transmits:

• Your license key (to verify authenticity)
• A usage count (to enforce activation limits)

No additional personal information is transmitted during activation.

4. COMMUNITY SOUND PACKS

If you upload a community sound pack:

• The sound files are stored on Firebase Cloud Storage.
• Your chosen display name and pack metadata are stored on Firestore.
• Other users can download, rate, and report your packs.

5. WEBSITE

The SlapWin website (slapwin.com) uses:

• Firebase Hosting: Standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type) are processed by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts: Loaded from Google's CDN. See Google Fonts Privacy.

We do NOT use analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising cookies on the website.

6. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

All data is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. Your local settings (slap count, preferences, license key) are stored in a local settings.json file on your computer.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

You can:

• Delete your local data by removing the SlapWin folder from %AppData%.
• Request deletion of your community sound packs by contacting us.
• Uninstall the app at any time — no data persists after uninstallation except your local settings file.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
